Team Ambush Alpha Squad 2009 Team Contract & Handbook
Team rules are subject to revisions and updates by team and may be updated at anytime. All gear assigned to a player is the property of Team Ambush Alpha Squad and their sponsors. Gear is to be turned in if a player leaves the team or is let go from the team. All gear must be returned in good working condition. If gear is not returned or destroyed, the player must replace the team gear or pay for the gear that is destroyed or not returned.
Section 1 Team Dues
A) Full members are required to pay a $200 membership fee / dues at the beginning of each season. B) Dues are applied to players entry fees, paint, travel expenses, projects, and promotional items. C) All full members that pay their dues have entry fees paid for at all EMR and LVP games. D) No team benefits will be given to any player that has not paid their team dues in full. E) Players must turn in all team gear if dues are not paid by the deadline. F) Reservist members are not required to pay a membership fee.
Section 2 Player’s Conduct
A) No arguing with referees, players, or teams. B) No foul language. C) No cheating. D) No speaking poorly or negative about team sponsors. Any concerns about sponsors are to be handled and discussed internally amongst the team. E) No promoting, wearing, or using products that directly conflict with current team sponsors during team events or while wearing team jersey. F) No one is to contact sponsors directly. All or any sponsorship questions should be directed to the team captain or person assigned to work with the sponsor. G) All publications or media referring to Team Ambush Alpha Squad requires authorization from team captain or person assigned to work with the media. H) Misconduct of any kind, will not be tolerated. Misconduct may cause a player to be removed from the team.
Section 3 Player’s Requirements
A) Full members are required to pay a $200 membership fee / team dues. B) Full members are required to sign team and sponsors contracts. C) Full members must attend no less then 5 official games a year and play in the Team Ambush Alpha Squad complete uniform. Players must also be on the field playing for no less then half the game time. D) Full members will receive gear from our sponsors each season. Gear must be returned in good working condition upon leaving the team. E) Full members are required to help with various team projects such as; helping at vendor’s booth, work details, photography, writing articles, financials, etc. F) Reservist members must attend no less then 2 games a year and play in the Team Ambush Alpha Squad full member uniform and gear. G) Reservist members do not pay any membership fee to receive team discounts. H) Reservist members must pay for sponsor’s gear at discounted prices or may use the team’s community gear at games. Community gear is limited. I) Reservist members are required to wear the same uniform as a full member and must purchase or acquire the appropriate gear. Reservist members must attend 2 games a season. J) All members must wear approved uniform and gear or have approval to wear or use other gear. You may not use gear that is directly in conflict or in competition with our sponsor’s products at team events or while wearing the team jersey. Always check with the team captain before wearing or using other gear that is not listed as part of the approved uniform / gear.
Section 4 Approved Uniform / Gear
A) Scott Goggles (Voltage, Vectra, Field, Strike, Bad Boy) B) Fire Fox Throat Mic (Commando, Paintball, Vanquish, Force Recon) C) Guerrilla Regulator (Myth, Assault, FUKU, Ambush) D) BT or Angel Marker (BT-4, BT-16, A1, Fly, etc.) E) BT Marker Accessories (bipod, magazine, electronic trigger, etc.) F) BT Tactical Vest (Static, Merc, HRT, pack) G) BT Gloves (Sniper, Combat) H) BT Pants (Combat) I)) BT Jersey (Combat) J) BT or Empire Hopper (Rip Clip, Reloader, B2, Magna) K) HP / CO2 Tank (brand optional, Guerrilla tank preferred) L) Headwear (brand optional) M) Footwear (brand optional) N) Energy Paintball Batteries, Hoo-Ahhs, AMMO Energy O) All above items must be used and or worn by all team members. No other product may be used or substituted for the sponsors gear and products. P) No player will be permitted to wear the team jersey if the proper gear is not worn, and that game will not count towards the 5 game requirement.
Section 5 Team Equipment
A) All equipment assigned to players is property of Team Ambush Alpha Squad and their sponsors. B) If at such time a player is no longer a part of Team Ambush Alpha Squad, that player must return all gear that was provided to them free of charge. C) If a player purchased the gear, they will either be reimbursed for the gear or they may keep it. D) There will be some gear that will be considered community team gear. This gear is for all team members to use. This gear will be returned at the end of each game or season.
Section 6 Player’s Status / Benefits
There are 2 different player statuses on Team Ambush Alpha Squad.
A) Full Members - play 5+ games a year, pay $200 membership fee, receive gear from sponsors to use, receive large discounts on gear, receive many other various benefits like free entry, free / discounted paint, and more. B) Reservist Members - play a minimum of 2 games a year, pay no membership fee, do not receive gear from sponsors and must purchase or acquire the appropriate team gear, receive discounts on gear, receive no full membership benefits.
* Any violation will result in a warning. Repeated warnings may result in the removal from the team.
