Team Ambush Alpha Signs with Lehigh Valley Paintball

Ambush Alpha scenario paintball is pleased to announce its recent sponsorship agreement with a premier Northeast paintball field, Lehigh Valley Paintball (LVP). LVP is well known in the speedball paintball community as a fantastic indoor field with high-quality customer service, and players and refs unlike any other. The LVP North indoor field is located in Emmaus PA. LVP has recently opened another field at a second location where Junkyard Wars is quickly becoming well known for being an exceptional scenario event. The most recent addition LVP South is located in Hatfield PA. Both fields are currently working on various projects to keep up with the growing expectations of the upcoming paintball player as well as the veteran professional paintball player. LVP North has just recently completed an indoor attack and defend field with a fort on one end of the field an a maze of spools at the other end. The LVP South field will be adding various new field structures to their fields through out the year. More information about LVP South and LVP North can be found at www.lehighvalleypaintball.com.

Ambush Alpha looks forward to playing at LVP with their fellow sponsored LVP team the Hell Katz, as these players add to the games they play, and maintain the spirit of fun in scenario paintball. The Hell Katz currently produce the Junkyard Wars games at LVP South and are a credit to scenario paintball. The members of Ambush Alpha had planned on attending LVP South’s upcoming Junkyard Wars 2 long before any sponsorship discussion; the team has committed to play for Fred Sanford which will be led by the 13th Legionnaires. Ambush Alpha will also be providing some prizes to the event from a few of their sponsors like Ammo Energy, Scott Goggles, Guerrilla Air Regs, Hoo-Ahhs Field Towels, and more. Aside from this highly anticipated event, Ambush Alpha will also endeavor to help LVP in any way possible in its future scenario paintball efforts, including raising community awareness about LVP. History

Ambush Alpha is a paintball team that was established in February of 2005. The team plays competition scenario games, scenario leagues, and speedball games. The team started out with several players from various high profile teams that now make up one serious competitive team. Some players still continue to play for other teams but remain loyal to Ambush Alpha. Ambush Alpha is also known as Team Ambush Alpha Squad, The Ambush Alpha Factory Team, and Team Ambush.

Ambush Alpha made an impression on the paintball world their first season out, winning several awards and accomplishing many team goals. Although the team was only established in February of 2005, they have accomplished more then was expected. The team has earned many awards, appeared various types of media, have hosted and produced games, Generalled and XO'd games, refereed games, and has even appeared in the Greg Hastings video game for PS2 and EMR's Castle Conquest DVD.

Ambush Alpha worked long and hard to gain the respect and admiration from their fellow paintball teams that have been established for many years. Ambush Alpha is now seen in the paintball community as one of the finest teams around, with their great sportsmanship, honorable playing, charity and donations to events, as well as helping and assisting others both on and off the field. The Captain (Brian "Rephy" Reph) of the team, stated that they couldn’t have done it without the help and assistance of some of the greatest paintball teams on the field today. Such teams as; The Blue's Crew, The Undertakers, Team Pain, T.S.S.O.C., Jersey Titans, and many others. He also went on to say that a lot of field owners and game promoters helped the team out a lot. Such fields and promoters like EMR, Poco Loco, Viper, Pyro, Strategy Plus, etc, etc.

The team is supported by the company Ambush Alpha Design Specialties or more commonly known as AADS. Ambush Alpha is involved in the advertising / promotional merchandise business that specializes in the paintball industry. Ambush Alpha Advertising also has a vending booth which is set up at games. The booth carries all of the paintball teams gear that the teams sponsors provide, as well as some other miscellaneous items that Ambush Alpha stands behind and supports. Information about Ambush Alpha Advertising can be found at their website at www.AmbushAlphaDS.com. Although Ambush Alpha provides the team with all their promotional needs, such as patches, uniforms, banners, decals, t-shirts, etc., the team also receives a lot of much appreciated support from their sponsors. Because of the teams high profile and reputation, the team succeeded in landing several large sponsorships. The team is extremely happy with all that their sponsors have done for them and had nothing but positive remarks about all their sponsors, and the high quality products that their sponsors produce.

For more information on the team and how to join Team Ambush Alpha Squad, or if you would like to sponsor Ambush Alpha, please send an email to Brian Reph at Rephy@AmbushAlpha.com. Ambush Alpha is available and open to discuss future sponsorships. Ambush Alpha also looks for serious players to join the team each year.

AMBUSH ALPHA JOINS JOINT FURY

The rumor is true and confirmed, Ambush Alpha has joined the ranks of Joint Fury. Light conversation began between a few players on Ambush Alpha and Joint Fury at a game back in 2007. After the game around a campfire, players made idle conversation about the game they were attending. Players from Joint Fury and Ambush Alpha were complimenting each other on their day of playing. One conversation lead to another, when finally someone made a comment like “we should join forces, we would really compliment each others playing style”. Players agreed and the conversation ended there. After several months past and the two teams played together again, similar conversations came up. But yet again, this was just conversation around the campfire after the game. No one really thought to bring it to the team captains at the time. It wasn’t until a game towards the middle of 2008 that the idea was actually brought to the leaders of the two crews. By this time, several players from both crews had become friends with each other and played side by side a few times. Eventually the captains spoke with one another to see if the merger of the two teams would be possible, and if the merger would be something both teams would be interested in doing. The team captains then discussed the merger with the players on their teams. In the end both teams agreed that the two teams playing side-by-side would be worth exploring.

Ambush Alpha and Joint Fury played their first game together at EMR’s Viper Game, Weird War II. The game the two teams played together, was a huge success. The side the two crews played for won. With the win, they also achieved 2 awards together. Joint Fury with Ambush Alpha won the Most Valuable Team Award and the Most Infamous Enemy Award. Both Ambush Alpha and Joint Fury were very pleased with the outcome. At this time, the merger was still just a rumor, only a few team captains outside Joint Fury and Ambush Alpha knew about the merger. It wasn’t until December of 2008 that the official announcement was made. Starting in 2009 Ambush Alpha will be playing and planning their game schedule around Joint Fury’s schedule. The two crews are now officially running together as Joint Fury.

Joint Fury was established in 1996 and was made up of 3 individual teams / squads that play together under one flag / organization called Joint Fury. One of the teams in Joint Fury is, Assassins Guild. This team is mainly known for being a mission team, but they are capable of accomplishing any task on the field. The second team is, Team BITM. Team BITM is the powerhouse team. Their strength is hit them hard speedball style paintball. But again, this team is also more then capable of completing any task asked of them. The third team is Trial By Fire / 40oz. Trial By Fire is a smaller squad but they are just as important. The team is like a jack-of-all-trades. They go out and do whatever is needed of them and do it well. Now in 2009, there is a new 4th team. Ambush Alpha has joined up with the rest of the teams of Joint Fury to make up the new 4 team / squad roster. Ambush Alpha is another jack-of-all-trades team. They do everything and anything or whatever is asked of them. Although all 4 teams play under 1 flag, they all remain unique and still have their own identities. You can find Joint Fury (Ambush Alpha, Assassin Guild, Team BITM, Trial By Fire) at various games in the North East of the USA. However, they can mainly be found at EMR Paintball Park in New Milford PA, their home field. You can also find each individual team at various games outside of Joint Fury. Each team has their own schedules, but come together to form Joint Fury at various events. The 4 teams never play against each other, always together as one when attending the same games.
